It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eleazor Genge, who passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the age of 63. Born July 2, 1962, in Flower’s Cove, Newfoundland to Isaac and Hazel Genge. Eleazor will be remembered for his warm spirit, sense of humour, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
Eleazor was the beloved Father of Richinez and Jolease, his greatest pride and Joy. He will be deeply missed by his loving father Isaac, sisters Juanita (Everett), Janette (Scott), brothers Gerald (Maunda), Ike (Bonnie) and special friend Cullen Simpson. He also leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Eleazor is predeceased by his cherished mother Hazel and sister-in-law Tammy.
Keeping with Eleazor’s wishes cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Anchor Point, Newfoundland on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
