GALLOWAY, Mark Andrew

Niagara Falls, Ontario – Mark Andrew Galloway died peacefully on July 11, 2025, in his 72nd year after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mark leaves behind his two beloved daughters, Nicole and Karen (Bill), who were the light of his life and of whom he was immensely proud. He was loved by his three adoring grandchildren, Jackson, Brayden, and Chloe, who will deeply miss their “Gramps” warmth and playful spirit.

Mark will be fondly remembered by his brother, Carl (Sandy), his sister, Ada (the late Robert), and his nieces, Rielle, Kirstin (Brett), and Alexandra. He was predeceased by his parents, Ted and Oda Galloway.

Mark will be greatly missed by many extended family members and friends, and will always be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need.

He dedicated over 40 years of service to Gauld Nurseries, where he took immense pride in his work. Outside of work, Mark cherished his annual trips to “Totem” on Lake of Bays, where he created countless treasured memories with family.

In keeping with Mark’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tranquility Burial & Cremation Services (Niagara) Inc. Condolences can be shared at tranquilitycremation.com

Our deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad.
Your Dad was better know to my whole family as “Mark the Gardener” He would stop by regularly for visits when he was in our neighbourhood. We would hear all the stories of both you girls and the grandkids and how proud he was of you.
May your memories and love help comfort you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
    Joe and Kim
