Peacefully January 11, 2017 at Stedman Community Hospice (Hankinson House) in his “90” year. Beloved husband and best friend for 59 years to Margaret (nee Byrne). Loving father to Darlene (Christopher), Craig (Debbie), Charlotte (Sheila), Dwight (Leila), and Bruce (Stephanie). Much loved grandfather to Erin, Ryan, Danika, Blair, Curtis, Austin, Jordan, Hazel, Charlie, Cael, Austin. Great grandfather to Desmond, Shea, Victor, Damian, and Beckett. Royce was born into a large, loving family in Kingsbury, Quebec on July 6, 1927. Royce will be remembered for his kind heart, warm smile, and terrific sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Thanks to the Bayshore staff, to Dr. Singh and Lara at hospice Outreach, VON volunteer, Anna-Rae, and a very special thanks to the staff and volunteers of the Stedman Community Hospice for their extraordinary care and compassion. Memorial service to be held at a later date in Quebec. A gathering for friends and family will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017, 2-4 pm at the residence of Craig and Debbie Fowler.
