With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Florence Rheta McGibbon (nee-Mullen) on July 10, 2025. Florence passed peacefully at the John Noble Home (Brantford) in her 97th year.
Predeceased by her loving husband Ron (2019) and her eldest son Jeff (2019) whom she has dearly missed. Florence is survived by her son, Mark and Patty, daughter-in-law Julia, grandchildren Melissa and Ben, Jake, Kate and Jamie and great grandchildren Jackson and Sienna, and nieces Sandy, Cheryl and Deborah. She will be fondly missed by her very best friend Maryann who she spoke with every day on the phone.
A private family burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Brantford. In memory of Florence, donations to a charity of your choice are appreciated.

My deepest condolences and sympathy to you and your family Mark, on the passing of your Mom. I will always remember our childhoods on Dundas Street with your family and mine. Those really were the good old days and we didn’t know it then. Hugs my friend.
