FERRELL, Gregory “Len” After a brief, but courageous battle with ALS, Len passed at the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford on Friday, November 10, 2017 in his 63rd year. Beloved son of the late William “Bill” and Colleen Ferrell. Brother of the late Les Ferrell. Survived by his sister Cindy Ferrell of Welland. Sadly missed by his nieces, Erin and Amy Ferrell, as well as his nephew Shawn Ferrell all of Welland. Fondly remembered by his great-nieces Abaigeal and Chloe-Lynn Ferrell. Len was an avid fisherman and race car enthusiast, who enjoyed following the sprint car circuit with his race buddy John Burbridge and crew. His family would to thank the doctors, nurses and volunteers at the Stedman Community Hospice for their care and compassion to Len and his family. Also a huge thank you to cousins Lynn and Rob Fairfoul, and Ernie Sinclair for all your help along the way. At Len’s request cremation has been arranged through Tranquilty Burial & Cremation Services Inc. As per Len’s wishes, a celebration of his life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
