FERNANDO, Dorothy – Passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Credit Valley Hospital.
Dorothy, beloved wife of Sumitha for over fifty- years; loving mother to Uromi and Dawud (son-in-law) and Pasan and Patrizia (daughter in-law); wonderful Grammie to her five grandchildren, Ammaarah, Ruqaiyah, Kareemah, Marcello, and Gilberto.
Dorothy was a giving person who always took the time to lend a hand to her family, friends, and everyone she met. She will be remembered for her strength and determination, the ability to find humour in everything around her, and the unspoken love that was expressed through her actions.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
