Enid McDonald

McDonald, Enid Margaret (Lundy) – Passed away peacefully in her sleep
at Lanark Heights Long Term Care in Kitchener on Saturday, April 30 th ,
2022 in her 95 th year. From her roots in Weston, ON, Enid and her late
husband Robert “Keith” McDonald created a legacy of loving family,
survived by her children Sue (Bill) Wright and Sandy (the late Chris)
McDonald, and pre-deceased by her daughters Christina “Tina” (Vince)
Doucette and Wendy (Peter) MacMillan. Much adored Nana of Tracy
Buchkowsky (Franco Colleta) (m:Tina); Jaime (Paul) Reichman, Ed (Lori)
Wright, Sarah (Joe) Regnier and Laura (Matt) Gauvreau (m:Sue); Lindsay
(Nathan) Walton and Natalie (Jules) Foisy Lapointe (m:Wendy); and
Cameron (Lyndsay) McDonald, Logan (Naomi) McDonald, Taylor (Grant)
Ward, and Reese McDonald (f:Sandy). Proud great-grandmother to Teshia,
Maikala, and Hailey; Amare, Amara, and Nasreen; Aiden and Owen; Nova;
Brooklyn and Lincoln; Gabriel and Garret; Mariane and Camille; Elliotte,
Colton and Sawyer; and Myers and Warren. Great-great-grandmother to
Maxene, Paige, Veronica and Lennox; and Abigail and Alexander.
Enid faithfully and lovingly covered her entire family with prayer and will
be remembered affectionately for her sense of humour and the way she
made us all laugh; her sharp memory for details past and present; the
enjoyment, wonder and excitement she got from the simplest of life’s
pleasures, God’s creation, and special holidays and events approached with a
child-like innocence and sense of adventure; and for her adorable cuteness
that endeared her to her family and the many that she came into contact with.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Holy Cross Crematorium, Paris,
ON, Monday, May 9 th , 2022, 12:00 – 2:00 PM.
