Eedy, Robert W. – Bob died on August 13, 2011 at the age of 63, with his wife of 41 years and children at his side.  Beloved husband of Kate Eedy and adored father to Megan Green (Don), Jennifer Lancaster (Jeff) and Tim Eedy (Jessica).  Much loved “Bobby” to Allie, Ryan, William, Simon and Dylan. Dear son of Colleen and the late Irvine Eedy and brother of Martha Stewart and Pat (Bob) Ott. After more than 40 years of living and raising a family in Mississauga, Bob counted many friends and our family is very grateful for their help and support during this difficult year.  The family would also like to extend many thanks to the staff at Ian Anderson House, Credit Valley Hospital – Oncology wing and The Princess Margaret Hospital for their care through Bob’s journey.  A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery and Visitation Center, 737 Dundas Street E on Monday, August 22, 2011, with visiting beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by a service celebrating Bob’s life at 11:00 a.m. and lunch reception at noon.  In lieu of flowers, if desired, a donation to Ian Anderson House Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
