Wally Dufrat, August 15th 1936, left on his last trip on Jan 1st 2025
Born in Elphinstone, Manitoba, educated there until he was 14, then Winnipeg and then Toronto. He also was the
Holder of 12 other designations and certificates including an MBA, from the London School of Economics.
Former President of the Brantford Regional Chamber of Commerce. Former member of the City of Brantford Development Board, as well as many other organizations.
Married to Phyllis (deceased) and then to Carol (deceased) Nov 22nd 2016. His fur buddy Jake left him on September 29th 2017.
Survived by his daughter Debbie (Al), granddaughter Michelle, his son Chip (Joan), grandson Adam (Kirstie) , great grandchildren Colton and Katra, granddaughter Sabrina (Richard), great grandchildren Keenan, Kodric, Kamille, Kapris, and Korynthia, grandson Alix (Madison) and his son Brandon (Sandy) granddaughters Madison and Sarah.
He worked in Venezuela for Trinidad Leaseholds, then Burroughs Business Machines, Canadian Oil Co’s, General Motors of Canada, Eatons, Consumer Distributing then as a Canadian Tire dealer, a Home Hardware dealer and finally as a Real Estate Agent with Re/Max.
He will be remembered by his many friends and relatives…..you know who you are!!!
Cremation has taken place, remembrances not necessary….save your money!!!
A gathering in Wally’s memory will be held on Sunday, January 19th at Speekezzies Cafe and Wine Bar, 415 Fairview Drive in Brantford.
