DUARTE, Helder (TAZ) Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Cindy Duarte (Vance) Loving father of Nino and his wife Felicia, Lindsay and her fiancé Tyler Dove. Proud grandfather to his first unborn grandchild. Caring Grand-Helder to Summer and Sophia. Cherished son of Manual Duarte and predeceased Maria Alice Duarte (2003) along with his sisters Maria Loretti O’Reilly (Shawn) and Alice Couto (Paul); his brother Carlos (Ena) Greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. At Helder’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life memorial/get together in honor of this amazing man is to be held Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Royal Canadian Legion (Galt,Branch 121) 4 Veterans Way, Cambridge at 4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations are to be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association, would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to both Hamilton General and Cambridge Memorial Hospital ICU Units for their care and compassion. “You can now chase shadows with Cain”
