DOYLE, Gordon “Wayne”

April 16, 2019 at the Brantford General Hospital. At Wayne’s request, cremation has taken place. A native of Nova Scotia, Wayne came to Brantford in 1962, where he made his home for the rest of his life. Wayne will be sadly missed by those he adored: his sister, Yvonne; his nieces & nephews; son-in-law, Chris Harpur; grandsons, Charlie and Greg; son, Sean; his many friends, and the uncountable people he made smile in his daily encounters. Wayne is predeceased by his parents; his brother, Rod; sister, Audrey; and his cherished daughter, Julia. Battling through numerous health challenges, including 6 cancer diagnoses, Wayne braved these trials with his signature humour, and the thoughtfulness of those he loved. “…and I think to myself, What a Wonderful World.”
