Davies, William (Bill) Trevor

September 04, 2025 | 5 Condolences

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Trevor Davies, aged 87, who passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025. Born on March 12, 1938, he lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of many along the way.
Bill immigrated from England in 1974 with his wife Ethel (Chapman) and their children Kevin, Karen (Ross), and Joanne (Woolley). He became an active member of the Navy Club, later earning a life-long membership and serving as acting president. Bill was also a long-time chairperson for the British Village and proudly performed as one of the “Queen’s Own Whistlers.” Together, the Whistlers brought joy to countless retirement homes throughout Brant County. In addition, Bill dedicated many years of service volunteering at the Brantford Casino in support of the Legion Poppy Fund.
Bill is lovingly remembered by his son Kevin, daughter Karen (Dave), and daughter Joanne (Keith). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Amanda (Jeremy), Caitlyn (Mike), Rachel (Marshall), Siobhan (John), and Kieran, as well as his great-grandchildren Lydia, Henry, and Beatrice.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Navy Club in Brantford on Saturday, November 15 at 2 p.m. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Regis and the staff at Sakura House Hospice for their compassion, dedication, and exceptional care of our beloved father.
