Crandall, Florence Elizabeth

March 23, 1938-February 11, 2025

After a lengthy illness on February 11, 2025 at the age of 86, we said goodbye to our beloved mother.

Predeceased by her loving Husband Ralph (Joe) Crandall, Sisters Shirley Sims and Betty Brown and Son-in-law Brian Walker.

Lovingly remembered by her children, Paul and Karen Crandall, Wendy (Brian) Walker, Linda Crandall and Pierette Lacroix.  She is also survived by sisters and brother-in-laws, Donna and Tom Jackson and Emily and Gerry Molon.

‘Grandma Flo’ will be sadly missed by her Grandsons Jordan (Lauren), Devon (Josh), Corey (Jenny), Kyle (Cynthia), Trevor, Myles and Great-Grandson Clark as well as Nieces, Nephews and extended family.

We would like to extend special thanks to Nurses and Staff at RVilla Retirement Home in Caledonia  where Florence enjoyed many good years of independant living with their help.

Special thanks also goes to the medical staff and other care team members at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton where she received very dedicated and compassionate care during her last days.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of her life will be forthcoming.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice and will be greatly appreciated.

I took care of Florence at Rvilla for what feels like a long time ago. She was always there with a listening ear, and a smile on her face. One of the nicest people I was fortunate enough to have met as a PSW.

While she only came into my life a few years ago. I always enjoyed having conversations with her. She was a Special Lady and I am glad I got to spend the time I did with her.

She convinced me to play golf the first time. I’ll never forget walking the course with Mom, Dad and Paul. We were a great foursome together. Miss her madly already…
