COWIE, Margaret Ellen (Nee Little)
With extremely heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our Mom and “Mama” on June 14, 2023 in her 78th year. Proud and loving Mother of Brett (Tina), and “Mama”, to Brendan (Kendra). Predeceased by her parents Robert and Helen Little, as well as her brother Edward. She will be remembered fondly by family, friends and her “Older Than Dirt Club”, ladies. Her laugh was infectious. Marg worked at Screenprint for 46 years. Her retirement was filled with baking cookies and oil painting. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit on Wednesday June 21, 2023 from 1:30 pm, followed by A celebration of Marg’s life at 2:30 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 620 Governors Rd. E, in Paris. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
I used to share the house she lived in in Bealton. It was only for 8 months or so but I got to know her and I enjoyed her company. She had the best laugh and we spent a lot of time talking until I moved to Korea. We stayed connected through Facebook.. Thank you for announcing here or I would never have known. I miss her, she was a great woman, with the kind of strength all people should aspire to have.
I’m very saddened to hear about Margs passing. My deepest condolences go to Brett, Tina, Brendan and Kendra. Marg was very special to my mom and I. I loved our conversations and they were always filled with laughter. You will always be in my heart. Rest in Peace Cousin Marg. Love always
