Peacefully, with her daughters by her side, on October 17th, 2019 at the Brantford General Hospital in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Leslie James Cook and daughter Pat Wood. Loving mother of Shelley Beihn (Bill Taylor), Laurie Braun (Russ) and Audrey Burghgraef (James). Will be deeply missed and loved by her eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Also will be missed by her sisters, brother, nieces, nephews and special friends. Leona was a caregiver for 30 years. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If able please make donations to www.ontario.cmha.ca in support of mental health in Ontario.
