Casey, Anna Mary (nee: O’Sullivan)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anna Mary Casey on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.  She was the beloved wife of the late Arnold Casey.  After Arnold’s passing, Anna found a loving companion in the late James Pipher.  She will be sadly missed by her beloved daughters Marie (John Fortier) and Linda, predeceased by her son Paul (Kim Casey Shaughnessy).

Born on February 26, 1928 to the late Jeremiah and Anna O’Sullivan, Anna is the beloved sister and last living sibling of the late Jerry, Eddie, Julia, John, Veronica (Hume) and Danny.  She is Baba, the cherished grandmother of Shanna Fortier (Jean Paul Diab); David Fortier (Jen); Matthew Fortier (Roseanne); Nicole Fortier (Eric Harris); Lindsey (Ben Munger); Ashley (Mike Abassian); and Adam Fortier.  She is Baba and the loving great-grandmother of Anna, Sarah, Dominic, Noah, Hannah, Evelyn, Rachel, Jacob, Diem, Joshua, Joseph, Olivia, Paxton, Felix and Michael.  Anna will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, especially Debbie, Sharon, Kim, Terry and Colleen.

She had a spark in her eye that reflected her beautiful spirit.  She had a wonderful sense of humour. Everyone who knew her, loved her.  She was our Matriarch, the glue that held our family together.  People were drawn to her quiet nature.  Strangers would turn to her for help and she would offer it readily.  To say she was generous would be an understatement.  She would go to any length to help others, even at her own expense, and she was happy to do it. She was compassionate, loving and kind.  Anna was the true reflection of God’s love for us.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Anna.  May Angels lead you to your heavenly home.
