In Loving Memory of Carolyn Krug
Carolyn Krug passed away peacefully on Feb 16, 2026 in her 86th year. Carolyn was born in London Ontario to Kay and Carl Rosebrugh. She was a loving wife to Larry Krug for more than 60 years, a loving mother to Cheryl Krug-Wiltse, sister to Dianne (Brian) Jarvie and Sheri Ray, grandmother to Kate and Patrick Wiltse, and aunt to Jen Tosh, Jim Ray, Glenn and Jon Jarvie.
Carolyn enjoyed her career as a secretary, first at her father’s accounting firm, Millard Rouse & Rosebrugh, and then at Glen Morris public school. Later she worked alongside husband Larry restoring furniture, where she became an expert in wicker caning. For years, the basement workshop at their house was full of ornate, antique furniture that she restored with loving care.
Her crafty, meticulous nature is how she will be fondly remembered by family and friends. She was gifted with a keen attention to detail, which she applied to all sorts of games, arts and crafts. She was always ready for a game of solitaire or Chinese checkers, and she was perpetually working away at a 1000+ piece puzzle.
Carolyn enjoyed a close relationship with her parents and she was privileged to spend countless Sunday dinners with them, living just across the field of the beautiful rural property they shared. This property was the centrepiece of the family for years, featuring many relaxing afternoons by the pool—albeit Carolyn could undoubtedly be found in the sunroom working on a puzzle.
She will be dearly missed by all.
