BURTT, Annette Marie

1952-2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annette Marie Burtt, born August 18, 1952, who left us far too soon on September 22, 2025.

She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and selflessness.

Annette was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

She was the devoted mother of Debbie, Jennifer, Crystal, and Donna-Lee. The proud grandmother of Justin, Maddison, Shaelynn, and Jaden.

She held her family at the center of her heart. They always came first, even when she had very little to give. Family was her world. More than a mom or a grandma, she was also a true friend. Whoever came into her life, she made sure to touch their hearts and leave a little piece of herself with them, so she would never be forgotten.

She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her generosity that knew no limits, and her humor that could light up any room. Annette had a way of making everyone feel warm, welcome, and safe. She gave what she could to those in need.

In her younger years, Annette proudly served her country in the Canadian Military Reserves from 1972 to 1976, an experience she carried with honor throughout her life. Beyond service, she lived fully—finding joy in fun, adventure, and creating cherished memories with those she loved.

Annette’s life was one of quiet strength, bravery, and boundless love. She has gone far too soon, but her legacy will live on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to have her in their lives.

She will be deeply missed by many, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

In keeping with Annette’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tranquility Burial & Cremation Services (Niagara) Inc. Condolences can be shared at tranquilitycremation.com A Celebration of Life will be held in the coming months to honor Annette and the beautiful life she lived.
