BROWN, Ruth

With heartfelt sadness the family announces the passing of Ruth Brown, on November 26, 2018. Ruth passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Eugene and Gladys Babb. Predeceased by her adored sons, Dennis (Paul) and William Michael (Bill).  Ruth leaves to mourn; her sweetheart of 63 years Michael (Mick), her adored children Heather Doucette (Keith), Fred, Glenda Annand (Peter), Michael (Susan). Her beautiful grandchildren; Sarah (Ivan), Laura (Adam), Dave, Bryan (Caroline), Kristen (Andrew), Mike (Lisa), Freddy (Tania), Chris (Mary), Miles, Kevin (Mary), Katie, Alex, Heather, Kayla (Mike), Jaxson (Chelsea).  Her sweet great grandchildren, Arianna, Luca, Charlotte, Emily, Xavier, Penelope, Tyson, Devin and Noah. Predeceased by her siblings, Daphne, Bill, Eugene, Greta, Fred, Florence, Joan, Enid, Maxwell and her sweet baby brother John whom she loved like a son. Survived by her sister Rose Marie (Babb) Hustins and her sister in law, and best friend Helen Brown. Ruth was born on September 25, 1938 on Bell Island, Newfoundland and came to Brantford in 1960 to raise her large family. Special thanks to her niece Donna Adams, who was there from beginning to end supporting and loving our mom; the BGH Emergency Department, specifically Dr. Shoots, the Brantford Outreach team and the VON Services whose care was beyond our expectations and truly appreciated. We could not have kept mom at home without them.  Christian Mass at St Pius X Parish, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford, Ontario, December 5, 2018 @ 1:00 p.m., lunch to follow.  In lieu of flowers mom requested that donations be made to the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford, ON.  Cremation has taken place
