BIELSKI, Walter S.
Walter S. Bielski, of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away due to cancer on April 18, 2024 at the age of 88. During his illness, Walter was surrounded by prayer by family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his children Adam, Conrad (Anita) and Delfina
(Grzegorz Swieckowski) and 9 grandchildren for whom he was a wonderful Dziadek.
Born in Montreal, son of Mathias and Genovefa, Walter was a proud Canadian of Polish heritage. He will be remembered as a caring and loyal friend; a kind, elderly gentleman to everyone he met. He showed affection to babies, children, cats and dogs – to all living things actually – flowers and plants. He enjoyed a cup of coffee at home, the mall or a sophisticated cappuccino at Jeanette and Wayne’s. He loved to share about Polish history and traditions, homemade dishes and polka dances. Walter is survived by his wife Rita (Piglas) and best friends Bernie, Chester and Joe; and predeceased by his first wife Barbara.
Walter rests in peace at the Glen Oaks Cemetery in Oakville.
Miss You Tata!
Adam
Our deep and sincere condolences for the whole family and particularly to Adam, Konrad and Delfinka and their families.
Walter and Barbara were able to develop a great love and respect to Polish culture, language and history as well as love for art and musics in the hearts of their children.
We are with you all in sorrows and pray for the Walter soul.
Anna and Tomasz Stapf
My condolences to all of you and especially my Dear friend Delfina.
