Betty Webster

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty on September 10, 2021, at the age of 82. Beloved wife to Bruce for 56 years. Loving mother of Kimm Hodd (Douglas Hodd) of Mount Pleasant and Kara Webster (Daniel Doucet) of Sault Ste. Marie. Proud grandmother of Breanna and Cameron Webber and Caroline and Romy Doucet. Sister of Marjorie Scott, Shirley Eves, Bonnie Eydt, and Cathy Cope. Betty was trained as a teacher, but spent the majority of time devoted to the upbringing and care of her daughters and grandchildren, who she loved dearly. Betty was an avid crafter and had a particular love for knitting. She will be most fondly remembered for her culinary skills and her cookies, pies, decorated cakes and homemade chocolates that were highly sought after. Betty served as a Girl Guide leader for many years and loved to square dance and spend time at their family cottage. Her cheerful disposition and patient and kind ways will be dearly missed by all that knew her. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Park Lane Terrace for their wonderful care of Betty during these difficult times.
