BARTLETT, Robert (Bob) David – Peacefully on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017, in his 75th year, Bob transitioned into Spirit and into God’s arms. Cherished and deeply loved husband of Reverend Carole Bartlett (Thorel) for 45 years. Bob was predeceased by his Dad Fred, Mom Helen, brother Fred, sister Josephine. He is survived by a sister, Sandra and several nieces and nephews. He is greatly missed by his little four footed companion “Spookee”. Bob was an avid collector of die cast cars and trucks and had recently been interested in model railroads and had planned to build one of his own. Bob was a “Ford Man” as most of you know. Bob and Carole enjoyed many trips to Nashville and were fortunate to visit the Grand Olde Opry several times, a wonderful cruise to Alaska, flew to Hawaii and visited many other attractions in Canada and the United States. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3rd, at 1 P.M. at Sydenham Heritage United Church. Please come and share your memories of Bob as it has been said that he was a great story teller of jokes and stories. Cremation has taken place and a graveside burial will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Stedman Hospice/ Hankinson House or the Brant County S.P.C.A. Arrangements provided by Tranquility Burial and Cremation Services Inc.
