Ballmann, Alfred –

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred Ballmann (in his 87 year) on Fri Nov. 4 2016, after a long fight with cancer. We are thankful that he is now free from pain and suffering. He is now reunited with his mother and father, and his first wife Traudel. Alfred lived a long, successful and happy life. He worked at DeSotto for 45 years, played golf with passion, ate the best foods with a glass of wine, read many books and enjoyed resting in front of TV. We are grateful and thankful for the care and support he received from the nurses, volunteers and students at the Dorothy Ley Hospice in Toronto.

He is survived by his wife Olga, his son Wolfgang with wife Donna, his sister Margot with husband Fred, and their children. Cremation has already taken place.
