APPEL, Edmond (Ted) 1944 – 2019 

Passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2019 with his family by his side. Ted leaves behind his loving wife Shirley (Newman); a devoted father to his son Craig and daughter Tricia Giles (Brodie) and proud Papa to Mackenzie and Madison. Ted also leaves a brother Frank (Alberta) and sister-in-law Patricia Hunt (Hamilton) as well as many extended family. Ted was predeceased by his father Adam, mother Margaret and sister Sandra. Ted was a proud veteran of the PPCLI Airborne Regiment and a truck driver for 50 years. Special thanks to all his great friends. We would like to thank Bayshore Outreach Nursing for their excellent care of Ted at home, in particular our nurse Starla. With respect for Ted’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring. Remember me as I was Not as I am
