The family of Anita Gordon announce her peaceful passing at Trillium Hospital on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the age of 59. Cherished daughter of Freda and the late Stan Kurylo. Loving wife to the late Robert. Beloved mother of Jackie and her fiancé Matt and of the late John and his wife Amanda. Doting grandmother to Carly and missed by her special buddy Jake. Forever remembered by the Ruggieri family. Anita is dearly missed by her family and friends, especially Cathy, Ruth, Susan and Elaine who were by her side until the end. Special thanks to Erin at the Trillium Hospital, J Wing, 6th floor for the extra care and compassion you showed our Mom. Although our hearts are broken, we take some comfort that she is now reunited with her husband Bob and son Johnny. Friends will be received at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery Chapel (737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga) on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until time of memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mississauga Heritage Foundation would be appreciated.
