Stuart Grant
March 24, 1942 – January 28, 2026
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Stuart Grant. He is survived by his wife Randi, predeceased by his brothers John (Patricia) and Kenny (Margaret). He will be missed by his grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews.
Stuart was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and emigrated to Canada in 1967. He initially worked as a salesman in men’s clothing at Yorkdale Mall before joining International Tele-Film in 1971. Through dedication, sharp instincts, and determination, he rose through the ranks to become Head of Sales, later an owner of the company and ultimately its President.
Stuart loved to cook and entertain, finding joy in bringing friends and family together. An enthusiastic golfer, ardent traveler, and devoted cruiser, he especially cherished spending winters in Mexico.
Known for his acerbic wit, Stuart’s sharp humour masked a warm, generous spirit. He lived unapologetically on his own terms, never swayed by the expectations of others. Despite his best efforts, Stuart will be missed.
