It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” MacFarlane.
Charles “Chuck” MacFarlane passed away on January 12, 2026. He was born on February 4, 1959.
Chuck was a devoted partner to Patricia Hawkinson and a loving father to Josh (Alexis), Melissa (James), and Peter. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Macy, Zendaya, Aryanna, Joshua, Alora, Oliver, Daxton, and Zeanna, all of whom brought him immense joy.
Chuck had a larger-than-life personality and a deep love for racing, especially NASCAR, demolition derbies, and fairs. He was a retired tow operator and proudly known as a “Carny,” having spent many years in the carnival industry. Through his work, Chuck traveled extensively and brought laughter, excitement, and joy to his family and to countless people he met along the way.
He was known by many everywhere he went — a familiar face, a storyteller, and someone who left a lasting impression. Chuck lived a life full of movement, connection, and shared experiences.
A private cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared with family and friends when available.
Chuck will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
