It is with heavy hearts that the family of James Docherty announces his passing on September 21, 2025, at the age of 41 years old.
Beloved son of Rhonda (née Hazey) and the late Jim Docherty (2011). Best friend and brother of Tabitha (Shane). Forever in the hearts of his children Addyson and Garratt. Dear uncle of Jayden and Nevaeh. James will be missed by his extended family, friends, and neighbours.
James’s children were the center of his universe, they were his whole world. He was full of life, genuine, and honest. He believed deeply in kindness and in striving to be the best version of himself. A true role model, he inspired those around him. He and his sister, being only a year apart, grew up as best friends, each other’s first friend, and that bond only deepened with time, growing stronger through the seasons of life.
James loved playing pool and golf, he had a passion for fishing and cherished his time up north. He never passed up the chance to sit fireside, soaking in the warmth and peace it brought. He loved fiercely and wore his heart on his sleeve.
In keeping with James’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tranquility Burial & Cremation Services (Niagara) Inc. Condolences can be shared at localhost:10299/
