Pejic, Slobodan (Bob)
In Loving Memory of Slobodan (Bob) Pejić
With deep sadness, we share the passing of our beloved Slobodan (Bob) Pejić, who left us too soon on October 30, 2024. Bob was a devoted son, brother, cousin, and friend—a gentle, kind soul whose warmth and easygoing nature touched everyone he met.
Though he never married, Bob’s life was rich with love, especially through his close bond with his mother, Radmila (Rada) Videnović, his steadfast supporter and confidante. He was also a beloved big brother to the late Zoran (Zoki) Pejić, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond until Zoran’s passing in 1977. Bob is lovingly remembered by his cousins across Canada, France, Serbia, and Germany, as well as a cherished circle of friends who became his chosen family, many of whom he called “brother” and “sister.” Together, we’ve shared countless memories, laughter, and adventures that will forever be held close to heart.
Bob’s quiet strength and wonderful sense of humor made others feel valued and understood. With a generous spirit and an open heart, he was always there with a smile and a listening ear, bringing comfort and joy to those around him. His kindness and compassion leave a lasting legacy.
Bob’s passions for music, cooking (always eager to share a homemade treat), cycling, and gardening were joyful expressions of his vibrant personality. His knack for creating delicious meals and nurturing plants made him well known for bringing life and comfort to those around him.
A funeral service will be held to honor his life and bid him a loving farewell on Friday November 8, 2024, at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium (737 Dundas St E, Mississauga). Visitation from 12:30pm-1:30pm, service to begin at 1:3opm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation are welcome in honor of Bob’s caring and generous heart.
His passing leaves an irreplaceable void, yet his spirit lives on in the memories we cherish. Though he may be gone, his warmth, laughter, and generosity will forever remain in our hearts.
Rest peacefully, dear Slobodan (Bob) Pejić. You will be forever missed, always loved, and never forgotten.

I’m glad to have gotten together with Bob in a reunion this past summer. It was a 30ish year gap since we saw each other. It was a joyous festive occasion. Wish we had more to follow. I miss this guy already, he left us too soon. Always a fun guy to be around and loved to share his mom’s Yugoslavian dishes whenever I was over at his place.
My deepest condolences to his mom , family and friends.
