Sadly, we announce the passing of Joe, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, after a long illness. He is survived by wife Isabella (nee Pock); sons, Peter and partner Susie, Gerhard and partner Susanne. Predeceased by his beloved daughter Inge and surviving son in-law Steve. Proud grandfather to Sydney, Zoë, Kerry, Kyle, Daniel, Helena and predeceased by Devin. Joe was an immigrant from Straden, Styria, Austria arriving in Canada in 1955. He was the proud owner of The Kitchen Centre in Mississauga where he made his living. Joe will always be in our hearts and dearly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
Friends are welcome to his funeral service on Wednesday September 4, 2024 at St John’s Dixie (737 Dundas St E Mississauga at Cawthra) in the Magnolia Chapel. Visitation at 11am followed by service at 12pm. Burial at St John’s Dixie following the service. For those who cannot attend in person, please join us over livestream by CLICKING THIS LINK.

Sincere condolences to the Kaufmann family on the loss of your patriarch. Joe was a great man, hard worker and wonderful father. We are sorry that we will not be able to attend the service as we will be out of the country.
