MacDonald, Wilma June

Born June 18th, 1946. Wilma passed peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital. Surrounded by her family, on Tuesday April 9th, 2024. Beloved wife of (53 years) Griffiths (Griff) MacDonald. Mother to her 3 sons Travis (Celine), Shawn (Jill) and Roderick (Katie). Wilma’s favorite times were spent with all of her loving grandchildren Owen, Benjamin, Aubrey, Olivia, Greyson and Charlie. Predeceased by her parents Sanford (Sandy) and Lena Ferguson, and siblings:  Annie Calder (Shellard), John Ferguson (Ruby ). Surviving siblings: Evelyn Jerome (Don), Eleanor Walker (Jack) and many nieces, nephews,  cousins and their families. Remembered by close family friends: Lorna, Tanya, Tikearah, Erin, Jane and all of their families.

Wilma was born and raised in the Ancaster and Carluke areas, moved to Brantford in mid 1960’s, where she enjoyed a career in catering, customer service, and loved dealing with the public. She was a very caring, loving and joyous person, and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. As per Wilma’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a celebration of life will follow in the coming weeks.
