It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that our family announces the passing of Austin Martin at the age of 27 at home with his family by his side. Austin was proud of his Mohawk heritage. He is a descendant of Captain Joseph Brant.

Beloved son of Kelly Martin & Joe McQueen. Loving brother to Alexis, Lauren and Victoria on his mother’s side. Loving brother to Jaiden, Jonathon, Jaida McQueen and Jemma Mussche on his father’s side.

Cherished Grandson to Carolyn Martin and Jean McQueen. Predeceased by his grandfathers Frank Martin and Bill McQueen and great grandmother Marybelle Brown. Austin will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

It was over 4 years ago that cancer became part of Austin’s life. He fought hard right to the end. His life will leave a permanent imprint on us as we attempt to navigate life without him.

Austin will always be remembered with unconditional love from his family and friends. He had the biggest smile and loved nothing more than having a party with his family and friends.

Austin loved listening to Elvis and Merle Haggard , his favourite TV shows were the Sopranos, Blue Bloods, Trailer Park Boys and Mayor of Kingstown. Austin loved trucking coast to coast with Nana and Papa.

Cremation has taken place, a Celebration of Austin’s life will take place this summer.

Special thanks to Dr. Bernadette McNeil and Dr. Eric Sault, nurse Shelly Groombridge, and Fatima.  Miles to go Cancer support group. Austin loved all that supported him during his cancer treatments.
