Bryan Rodney McKee
May 20, 1950 ~ November 12, 2023
Passed away on November 12, 2023 at the age of 73 years after a brief illness. Devoted husband of Pat, his wife of 54 years. Loving father of Tracey (Brian), Chris and Catherine, Erin Raith, and Shannon and Bret Milligan. Beloved grandpa of Brandon (Mackenzie), Sara, Hayden, James and Evan. Fondly remembered by sister, Linda Powell.
With a lifetime devotion to the Anglican Church, Bryan was a longtime member of St. Jude’s before joining Grace in 2015. He served in many roles over the years including Lay Reader, Churchwarden, choir member, youth group leader and Food Cupboard volunteer. He was also a Scouts Canada leader.
After building a career at Food City for over 20 years, Bryan returned to school as a mature student and graduated from Mohawk College in 1994 with a Diploma in Packaging Management and Technology.
Bryan enjoyed many hobbies and was most passionate about creative writing, the Toronto Blue Jays and NASCAR.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11am at Grace Anglican Church, 4 Pearl St, Brantford, followed by a reception. Visitation will take place at Grace Church immediately prior to the service at 10am.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to Grace Anglican Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and Personal Support staff of the BGH 8th floor for the support and care given during Bryan’s stay.
