McDONALD, Lorraine Mary – With much sadness, the Family announces the sudden passing of Lorraine
Mary McDonald (nee Chaput) in her 86th year. A dear mother to her loving sons Don (Erica),
Burnaby, BC; Darryl (Jacqueline), Waxahachie, TX and Bob (Diana), Woodstock, ON. Proud grandmother
of Michael (Kaitlin) and Madison (Meaghan), Robert (Shelby) and Jeffrey and Tyler (Justice) and Evan
(Kate). And great grandmother to Zander and Tristan. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, William
(Bill) George McDonald, parents Esymier and Ida Chaput (nee Tremblay), brothers Peter, Orrel and
Oliver and sisters, Eleonore, Marie and Evelyn. And beloved family pet of 17 years, Mickey.
Lorraine is also survived by siblings Rosie, Alice, Jeannette, Claire, Claudette, Huguette and Roger.
Cremation has taken place. Lorraine’s wishes were to have no visitation or funeral service. An interment
ceremony will be on October 14, 2021, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Brantford, ON, for the final resting
place for Lorraine and Bill.
Lorraine, a former employee at Levis, longtime homemaker and family matriarch, will be missed by all
Family and friends.
