It is with deep sadness that the Oldroyd family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend. Terry leaves behind his loving wife Susan, adored children Emily, Lucas, Bradley and Dean, also his faithful four legged companion Grace. Terry was born in Brantford the youngest of eight children, Trevor (Theresa), Laurie (Cheryle), Ron (Sandra), Chris (Bill), Jack (Carol), Dave (Connie) and Nancy. Predeceased by his father Harold, mother Mercia and niece Shannon Oldroyd. Terry had a lasting impact on the lives of all who had the honour of knowing him. His kindness, wit, spirit and devotion to his family and friends will be cherished forever in their memories. The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses, and all who were involved for the compassionate care given to Terry and family through his journey. Family and friends are invited to join us on Monday February 18, 2019 at the Rope Factory, 111 Sherwood Dr. Brantford. Visitation 1-3pm, service and memorial tribute to follow. Donations may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice or for his sons to be held in trust. Online condolences may be made www.tranquilitycremation.com.

So sorry to hear….l meet Terry thru baseball when l coached Bradley in the summer games. Just a remarkable man we always would chat and wish each other the best when we ran into each other at the ball diamond. Until we meet again Terry keep the seat open and will finish our friendship.

The Sinning family sends their deepest condolences. I first met a Terry when our boys played together when they were about 10 years old. We coached together then and always stayed connected through baseball and hockey. Terry is a testament to being devoted to family, a true role model for all parents. A great man has been stolen from us.

It is with a heavy heart that I offer condolences to Sue, Emily, Lucas, Bradley and Dean.
Terry, Sue and their family have been wonderful neighbors to my parents for years. Terry will be remembered for the love he had for his family…and also for the many, many, many times he was seen chasing Gracie through the court at high speed when she decided to go visiting the neighbors. He will be missed!

Pioneer Court will never be the same now that Terry has left. So many times we have enjoyed listening to their shouts and laughter while watching him and his family playing street hockey or baseball from our window . So many times have we watched him being the father that others could only wish too be. So proud he was of his family, you could tell by his eyes when he spoke of them. We will sadly miss his neighborly waves and neighborhood chit chat.
