It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cameron Butler age
48 on September 28, 2020. Beloved son of Priscilla and John (pre-deceased).
Cherished brother of David (Christine), Aimy and Scott (predeceased). Much loved
father to Clare, Hannah, John and Christopher.
Cameron graduated from MacMaster University with an engineering degree. He
worked at Schaeffler Group for many years and had recently started his own home
renovation company. Cameron was very athletic and enjoyed skiing, snowboarding,
golfing and kayaking. Cameron enjoyed close friendships through his volleyball, hockey
and ultimate frizbee teams. Above all Cameron enjoyed spending time with his children,
friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A service will be held on Friday October 2 nd at 11:00am at St. John’s Dixie
in Mississauga (737 Dundas Street East) for immediate family only, due to COVID. For those unable to
attend, you can follow along with the service on Zoom. The link will be posted below
and on David and Cameron’s Facebook wall.
In lieu of flowers, the Butler family is asking for contributions to the Cameron’s Kids
Education Fund to be posted on David’s Facebook wall. All the contributions will go
towards post-secondary education for Clare, Hannah, John and Christopher. Please
