LABBE, Gisele Iriente “Meme”
February 23rd, 1955 – October 4th, 2023
Gisele passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday,
October 4th, 2023 at the age of 68.
Gisele was married to the greatest love of her life for 51 years, Robert “Pepe” Labbe.
Much loved mother of Yvon and Lissa Labbe.
Cherished grandmother of Austin (Isaac), Abbi (Cody), Cam (Letitia) and Christine (Mike).
Proud great-grandmother of Harlyn, Ethan and Baby D.
She will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews,
extended family members and friends.
Gisele now joins those that have gone before her, her parents, JP and Alice St. Denis, her sibilngs, Roger, Norm and Aline and her great-grandson Oliver.
Gisele proudly contributed to her community as a PSW for the Brantwood Residential Centre
for over 30 years as well as a Lifeguard (Special Needs, PSW).
She had a love for life, the outdoors, camping, fishing and being with her family. She also loved dancing and country music.
She was known as Meme to everyone, especially her grandchildren. She was also the life of the party and was always willing to “cheers” everyone.
At Gisele’s request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will be announced at a later date.
