KOVACS, Karli Amanda
KOVACS, Karli Amanda – With much heartbreak we announce the death of our dear daughter and sister, Karli Amanda Kovacs, on Wednesday September 19 peacefully surrounded by her family, one month before her 28th birthday. She will be terribly missed and forever cherished by parents Phil and Vickie, sister Alexa, brother Jeremy, grandparents June Kovacs and the late Lew Kovacs, Marg Hedden and the late Tom Hedden. Karli was greatly loved by aunts, uncles and cousins of the Kewin, Stenton, Hedden, Whalen and Cable families and great uncle John Stewart. Karli is remembered by many as a true friend throughout her life; a kind, spirited, funny soul and she loved her friends and cousins immensely. We fondly remember Karli’s love of hockey and winters spent playing the sport in her backyard rink with her father, siblings and cousins. Karli spent her summers camping with family and friends and her beloved dog, Sam. She was a caring, supportive, and protective big sister that her siblings are eternally grateful for. The kind of person who lit up the room with humour and kindness; an immediate friend to everyone she met. The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses of BGH CCU; your care for Karli and our family will never be forgotten. A private family celebration of life will follow. Karli’s ashes will be spread at Rock Point Provincial Park, a favourite place that she spent with family and friends many times over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted for the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation’s Mental Health and Addiction services. Our beautiful Karli, you will be forever loved and forever young. “All your life, you were only waiting for this moment to be free.” Rest peacefully, we love you more than you could ever know.
