1934-2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dan on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Stella (nee Beach). Loving father of Allen Hermiston, Lois McInnes (2019)(Brett) and Kelly Hermiston (John). Devoted grandfather of Jeffrey (2011), Amanda DeVuyst (Frank) and Billy. Great-grandfather of Taylor (Logan), Emily (Danielle), Erik (Hannah) and Easton. Great-great-grandfather of Elias. Much loved brother and best friend of Ron Hermiston, the late Ed, Bertha and Stan as well as many nieces and nephews. Dan was born in Uno, Ontario to George and Lois Hermiston. His family has always been his pride and joy and his love will never be forgotten. Dan will always be remembered for his love of gardening, woodworking and country music. He was also a longtime employee of Hamilton Porcelains. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Charlotte Villa for being part of his care. A graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, 169 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 at 1:00pm.
