I feel very deep sadness both in hearing about Donna passing away and her loss for my good buddy Peter. The photos of Valentine day speak of the deep love and respect between Donna and Pete. Their spirits transcends the photos.

I have beautiful memories of times spent in Dorval with great meals cooked by Donna and Pete. Much of the meals were filled by bounties from one of Donna’s passions — her garden.

Donna , I will miss your compassion, quick wit, sense of humour, and your sense for art which was eclectic and appreciated.

I find it difficult to close my condolences but know that Donna will be appreciated in heaven and will be looking down upon us with that beautiful smile.

Donna, to the last day, showed enormous strength and courage. She even mustered up enough strength to do her best in looking after Peter when he broke his leg. He in turn of course was there for her throughout everything. Both were committed to one another in a caring team. She will be missed by Peter and her family and friends around her. My thoughts are with you and you know I am only a phone call away.

It never seems fair, but passing is often the greatest relief for the suffering. Donna was a loving wife to Peter and great Mother to the girls. To know Donna, is to to apprecaite her great sense of humour as well. If we can provide you comfort, know our thoughts are with you. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
