My deepest sympathies to all who are close to Roger and especially to his family.

As you deal with the loss of Roger, remember that things will get easier even though the grief may seem like it will never end. Accepting the loss of such a special person is not an easy thing to do but as I have learned, it is what we must do if we want to move forward as Roger would want us to do.

My time spent with Roger while working for Rockwell Automation are some of the best memories I have in my career. Even though I have not seen him for a very long time, I miss him now that he is no longer with us and his fun loving personality is no longer around to make us laugh.

Best wishes to all in this difficult time.

It has been some years since I saw Roger when I used to live in Canada. Roger was a good friend and like Cam says when he walked into a room you had an instant friend; such a warmth about Roger that you could not ignore or forget. Later on I became his boss and Roger was such a pleasant fellow to have on the team and thats how we worked. I will always remember his rendition of the elephant that brought everyone to laughter……what a lovely man. Rest in peace Roger, you had the greatest heart and you will stay in ours.
With love, Keith, Liz and Chloe

    Dear Claudia ,
I know Roger’s life was you .. and his boys.. a big man with a bigger heart, taken too soon from our lives.
Roger compassion for people was always evident in the way he treated people, and the respect he gained back from them . .
He certainly commanded attention when he came into a room , not because of his size, but because of his persona….always so warm and charming.

I know he cherished his memories of sailing with his Dad, the Boy Scouts he use to be involved in as a leader, his camping trips with families, his Xmas’s and vacations with family and friends . He loved his dogs…and he always wanted the best for Josh and Jordan and to see them do well in their own lives. Do your Dad proud in everything you do.

I had the opportunity to work with Roger side by side for approx 25 yrs first at Babcock & Wilcox and then Rockwell Automation, both in Cambridge, ON and have to thanks him for his support and great friendship, and the oh so many laughs ! I told him just last week that when he gets on his feet we have to go golfing again, but he would have to drive the golf cart ..because he could not drive a golf ball ! Even though he was not well, we shared a last laugh that I will always cherish. I know his many co-wokers have been saddend by his passing as well and send you all their condolences.

Claudia, Roger told me he could not have carried on this far without you. Our memories can never be taken away, and my sadness for loosing Roger is overshadowed by the so many good memories we shared, bless him and his family.

Words are inadequate to describe who and what was lost. Friend, college and family member are only some of the things Roger did so very well. He will be missed every day I have left.

    Dear Joshua and Jordan,
I’m so sorry that you have lost your father at such a young age. You are both such wonderful young men; and I know that you both made your father proud right from the day that you were born. There are so many happy memories of days with you boys and your Mom and Dad. Hold your happy memories in your heart. Take care of each other; and know that you are in my heart and prayers; and also in the thoughts of Sue, Steve and my Mom as well. We all love you both. Aunt Linda.
